Model No.3
Model No. 3 is a full sized free standing press.
Model No.3 comes standard with a bed width of 750mm and length of 1220mm. It may be built with a width of 700mm to 850mm and longer beds may be ordered.
The precision ground rollers are 170mm diameter and are equal top and bottom.
Specially made high tensile gears offer a direct feel and a 5:1 ratio.
Engraved micrometer dials have an addressable bezel, which enables quick and precise adjustment of printing pressure.
Adjustable pressure pads allow a change from high pressure Intaglio to a more compliant state when working at low pressure such as with woodcuts.
The laminate bed will not warp like the old steel plate beds, and is lighter and pleasanter to handle while being generally resistant to corrosion and inks.
The stand incorporates a generous storage shelf and to assist transportation the stand may easily be detached from the head of the machine and the handwheel may also be removed.
Model No.3 comes with operating instructions and an oiling system and maintenance kit.
